Example: Wave Generator

This operation generates a dataset with values that can take the shape of four different types of waves - Sine, Square, Triangle and Saw waves. There can be more than one wave of the same type, or a combination of different types of waves. Each wave represents a generated field.

In these examples, the configuration of each type of wave is given, and then the trend view for each field is illustrated. To see the trend view, highlight the created dataset, and select the [Trend View] icon from the toolbar ribbon. Click the [Configure] button below the graph to determine how many and which fields you want to see on the same graph, and to customize the graphs.

Example 1: Wave generator - index based

Configuration:
